Trying to get some feedback on who would be a reputable aluminum chromer, aluminum can be tougher to do and some chromers don't give any warranty on chromed aluminum. I have a few pairs of orig Motion BB valve covers that were originally chromed way back when, but are peeling now and I plan to put a pair on one my Day 2 70 L78. Any help is appreciated.

Just a suggestion, but have you considered buying a new pair of polished ones and replacing your Motion emblems onto them? Original Motion covers were produced both ways (chromed or polished) It would probably be alot more economical to buy a new set of covers for 100.00. The new ones are externally identical to the originals and easily obtained, plus you won't have to worry about your new chrome peeling, as it doesn't ever stick to aluminum very long, especially under regular use.

I thought of that Joe, since I have 4 pairs of Motion covers, figured I would chrome one pair to see how it comes out. I know you can polish the new aluminum coves very nicely. Thanks for the input

One of the members here runs a Chroming service. I was hoping they would join in and answer your questions. Ill see if I can find their screen name for you and you can PM them any questions
