Superbirds in streetrace

Not a common sight back in the seventies. Two Superbirds running against each other.

The black one is a factory Hemi car. It is undergoing a complete restoration back to stock, with wing, special nose and all. The dealers had a hard time selling these odd looking cars. So after a while they could order new roadrunner frontends at a good price, to be able to sell the cars. That special rearwindow wasn´t altered though.

Nick, here is another classic Swedish streetracer. Lars-Inge driving his "closet"-Chevelle. Picture is taken in Stockholm, I assume.

That is an excellent picture! So much can be said about it. I don't know where to begin. First, there's daylight under the Chevelle's driver's tire!
