Please help 68 SS 427 #s match?

I have seen David Koresh's "Waco Tx Wacko"
1968 SS 427 Camaro it is reported to be a number matching car---black in color--recently sold but is coming up for sale again?-----would this be a copo car? It is LA built car. Nice looking car What would be the price range for this car??? Thanks to all and great board. Todd

It being a 68 would tell you its not a Numbers matching car!!! Someone transplanted that 427 into it, just who, dont know!!

thank you for your reply! I had no idea that 68s didnt have the option for a 427, that is why I posed the question on this great forum.
