I'm looking for license plate frames and memorabilia from Clippinger Chevrolet in West Covina, California. Looking for circa 1967 items in particular. Thanks in advance,

Good luck with your search for Clippinger stuff. I'm sure there are plenty of Corvette guys already on the hunt. Looks like they sold quite a few hi-perf cars in their day, including the James Garner A.I.R. L-88 Vettes. Check out this site for some awesome vintage pics. www.airl88.com

---------Bob Wingate was the leading salesman out of Clippinger back in the 50s, 60s and 70s. He sold so many Vettes that GM gave him special modified Vettes for free every year. Ill bet he has a bunch of memorabilia. Although he is still around I dont know how to get hold of him. Jimmy Gessner (Vettefinder Jim) would, however, as they are friends. Ill have to find Jimmys website or E-mail but he posts over on the Corvette Forum quite a bit............Bill S
