All you Northwest guys that didn't go to Portland last weekend missed a great event. They even opened up PIRaceway with about 500 stalls, they haven't had any swapmeets at the two places since about 1999. (There's the Expo site & PIR)
The highlight of the meet was a Dated '69 ZL-1 block that was for sale. I was suprised it didn't sell till the end of the third day. I'll probably never see another! I'm always a day late & a dollar short ![]()

hey did you get a good look at it? Was the block stamped and dated? (One of the 69) or an across the counter parts block?

I had a good look & wrote it all down but the paper with the info must have got trashed when we cleaned up the Motorhome
![]() It was a dated block with no VIN, I believe it had been decked. There were some other issues that were the result of a pressure check. A leaky threaded plug in the lifter valley & a small crack in the webbing near the crank. I'm sure this block will be ebayed soon enough! It looked like it had been deburred as the block looked like it had sanding marks on the outside too. The Winters logo, cast # & date were all in good shape.

The vin would have been down by the oil filter.
