Default COPO Boys Missing the Boat

Geez,
There's a bright orange #9561, X11 COPO gracing the cover of the new Hemmings Muscle Machines magazine and I don't see any of the Chev.'s chattin' about it.

We Goatheads might be a little "a" retentive about our Ponchos, but the Chevs are asleep at the wheel on this one.

....waitin' for the backlash....

Ahhhh..... you Chevy dudes are like me with my Apple computer: you'll defend it to your death.

Actually, anyone who DOESN'T think that the '70 Chevelle SS LS6 454 isn't one of the finest cars ever produced in the US is wacked.

Oh... I mean AFTER the '70 Orbit Orange Judge 455, of course!

I did not see the 66 GTO POP on eBay... can you post the Item number though?

Seriously, the COPO article in Hemmings is VERY frickin' cool! Wait'll ya read it, dudes.

Heck, Whats wrong with an Apple Computer? Much like the very first of the Hot Rod/Collector Car scene in the US, it was first designed and built in small town USA garage by the light of a dim 100 watt bulb, then it took a Zillion dollar company to bring it down......and Bill Gates never put on a outdoor 750,000 people concert like Steven Jobs(sp?)did with the US Festival in California back in the eighties......I am still trying to remember how I got home from that one....... A great American success story, a dream, a goal, and a legacy. Kind of remenisent of a story about a small town Pennsylvania Chevrolet car dealer.....Who knows, someday an entire culture may be restoring Apple Computers!
Motown....rough night, no sleep......

Definitely a good article, on an awesome car, which happens to be owned by the nicest chicken farmer I know!

Seriously, though, I've been fortunate enough to see that car in person, and it looks as good as it runs. And it runs deep into the 12s, on Polys and through the manifolds...!

Congrats, Pete!
