Default 69 Chevelle SS 396/375

I saw a 1969 Chevelle SS 396/375 4 speed at a classic car dealership today. I didn't have time to look the car over but was told it has the original drivetrain. Does anyone know how many 69 L78 Chevelles were built? The car has a cheap paint job and needs body work. From what I saw, the rest of the car looked ok. Any ideas of the value? Thanks in advance for any help.
James

Wasn't it more like 9000 by 1969? Or is my memory going?

They made 9486 1969 L78 Chevelles & Elcos to be exact.
Find out if it's one of the M22's.
Only 1276 Chevelles & Elcos recieved the M22 for 1969.
Need more info for a Price quote. How detailed,&
is there paperwork to back it up?
Guessing 20-25K with out actually seeing it.

How can you find out if it was one? I have a 67 396 chevelle but the tranny in it is not the original one. Is there a way I might be able to tell.

As far as paperwork, see if it is mentioned on the window sticker,or what suffix code is in Box 28 of the buildsheet it it has one.
Or look at the Trans. itself & see if there is the cars VIN# in it,& look for the Muncie Code that resembles:P9d08C-The C is for an M-22.

I'll go take a closer look at the car one day next week. I found the dealership by accident and didn't have time to get any details about the car. If the dealer will let me, I'll take some pictures and post them here. If I decide not to get the car, I will give the location for anyone here that may be interested in it.

I got the cowl tag info for this car. Now I need help decoding it.

ST 69 13637 ATL209472
TR 756 53 LB
01D

Engine code is TO312ID, Not 100% sure about the last 2 letters, but looks like ID. I could read the rest of the numbers on the pad. It is supposed to be a numbers matching car.

The car has lots of rust under the vinyl top especially between the trunk and back glass. The body work looks bad. The interior is in good condition. Trunk and floor pans look solid. I didn't find out which 4 speed the car has. The engine compartment looks pretty good. Looks like it would make a nice car to restore. What should a car like this sell for?
