If you need one in a hurry, GM stills sells it but it looks a little different than the original and has a superceded part number. But, it will do in a pinch.

Steve, You have to find out which one you need first. They are gear reduction adaptors, and there is alot of different ratios. Ron

I have one, but don't know the ratio for sure. I was thinking it was 1:1 If you are interested, I can get the numbers, and figure out the ratio.

I think what you want is one of these:

6476736 1967-69/ALL ST - STAMPED .777, AC AND 6476736.

Although Ed C. shows different numbers for COPOs:

Muncie 4-speeds:

Gear/Wheel---Drive----Driven---Adapter-COPOs
4.10 F70 x 14 6261794 3987919 3932220 9560, 9561, 9562AA, EA; 9566AA

4.56 F70 x 14 6261794 3987921 3932220 9561 (optional)

4.10 E70 x 15 3924097 3860348 6476736 9737; 9562CD, CE, DE; 9694 CA

My original 12k mile 69 has 4.10 with F70-14 and the 6476736 adaptor with a ratio of 1:.777. According to Ed C. it should have the 3932220 adapter, just goes to show, you can't always go by what you read on paper.

Checked mine today, couldn't find the ratio stamped, but it appears to be about 0.9:1
