Default Original 14x7 trim ring ID question

How can I identify an original vs. a repro trim ring for my 1969 Camaro 14x7 rally wheels? Are the GM ($75 each) trim rings an accurate repro or should I keep looking. I have what I think are two original trim rings which extend a good way into the rim and have a second indented body line next to the portion where it makes the break to go in toward the center rim area. I would attach a photo but my camera is on the fritz. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, NJSteve
