My son is finishing up his original 68 Z-28. It is an early car, Vin # 124378L332074. It has its original 'V0209MO' motor. He has found many items on this car as a carry over 67 item. The wheels are the question right now. He says they are 15x7. I say they should be 15x6. Al Colvin says in his "Chev by the #'s", 68 Camaro is a 15x6JK, code is DF, and offset is .50. In 67 the wheel was 15x6JK, code DF, BUT THE OFFSET WAS .62.
In 69, the wheel went to 7". The size was 15x7JJ, cod AD., and off set was .30. The question is, WERE ANY 68 Z-28 CAMAROS MADE WITH 15X7 INCH WHEELS? AND IF SO, EARLY OR LATER? Thanks for your help, Jim
