Picked up a set of M/T 427 valve covers at a swap meet recently. They have "427" in a small circle about the size of a quarter or a little less off to the side of the letters M/T.Are these common or a little on the rare side ? First time i'd ever seen any !

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i believe the ones with 427 cast in them are pre 1970. When the 454 came out, the 427 wasnt the biggest big block, so they stopped putting the engine numbers on them.
