I have some questions regarding Center Line and Cragar Wheels.
Are Center Line Wheels still being produced under their original casting? Where can I order them from? Summit? Jegs? What is the biggest styling difference between a 1970 casted Cragar S/S wheel and a 2005 casted Cragar S/S wheel (in size 15x8)? As always gentlemen, Thank You! -Dan

The biggest differnce is the centercap. The new ones are way more rounded and the lettering is different.
The basic wheel is the same but the lug nut area is different. 99.9% of the people out there will not notice.I have noticed a different spoke/rim shape from the new cragars vs the old but most people do not. I would use the Cragar Super trick before the centerlines just for the fact they are discontinued, not impossible to find, I think they look better and Cneterlines are still avaiable which takes the fun out of the search. |
