Default Hans' COPO pics

Attached are some pics of Hans' Z28 alongside a COPO Camaro which he would like to own. The COPO is an unrestored, numbers matching car - very cool!!

Marlin,
Is that an original dealer emblem on the rear panel? If it is, what dealer was it(don't post it if it could screw up the sale)?

Andrew, I can't decipher the emblem either.

Hans; can you tell us who the dealer was?

Nice cars Hans. Looks like no under hood decals on the COPO. Does the owner know if this is how it left the factory?

Just got an update from Hans;

This car is one of two white COPO cars that were imported to Sweden in the '70's by a Swedish car dealer! The cars are still in Sweden, both are white with black standard interiors and the air spoiler group. One car is an automatic, the other is an M22 with guage console and VE3 enduro bumper!

I wonder what else is over in the Sweden/Finland/Norway area, I know that there are a lot of Novas!!

Marlin,
That was very interesting! I just read (a few months ago in "Muscle Car Review") about a Barracuda that was shipped to Switzerland and how it was a rare car because some of the options were not avail in a car of its trim level here in the USA. I also read in Alan Colvin's book "Chevrolet by the Numbers 1965-1969" about how there were a small # of 283 powered 1967 Camaros that were built, delivered to Bloomfield Hills Michigan, disassembled and sent "overseas" for sale. 283 Camaros! There was a Hemi Charger featured in "Muscle Car Review" (a while ago)that was purchased new in Germany by a US soldier thru the PX. At the track (that I work at)a racer showed me a Buick Regal that was manufactured at a Buick Opel plant in Brussels, the car was purchased by a diplomat new in '74 and brought back here when he returned home. And last but not least Kenji Ogasaki, who was the driver of Jim Dunn's "Mooneyes Funny Car" is a muscle car dealer in Japan.
