Default Bypass hose nipples

Is anyone aware of a vendor selling repro big block bypass hose nipples that are correct for 65-66, and 67 before they added the bulge or lip to the end? (I think that lip was added somewhere around May of 67.)

It is basically just a straight pipe, no threads, no lip. I can only find this style with the lip: https://www.ebay.com/itm/375500603824

If no one is making the 65-67E version, does anyone happen to know the specs of the pipe they used (O.D. size, and wall thickness)? Maybe I can just buy some pipe at the plumbing store and cut out my own.

Thanks!

----Dick is very much in business. He seems to only advertise in the NCRS parts and cars catalog. I don't have one in front of me, but surely someone on the sight does. If not I'll get it and put the number on here. He's a perfectionist so it's entirely possible that he has them....Bill S

Richard has helped me in a few restorations as far as parts that are reproduced and are not close to the originals. He worked for AC Delco and is an engineer by trade. If he doesn't have the original nipple, he can surely make it.

From his webpage...looks like he is selling one with the lip. Or are you looking for the one in the intake ?? I recall seeing a "pipe" with a slot for a screw driver type tool to install.

Except for some of the smog cars, all 65-67E are straight, unthreaded press-in pipes with no lip. But they are an odd O.D. size not sold by standard pipe vendors.

As to Paragon, if you Google Paragon Corvette you get Paragon Performance C8 (apparently a different company), and you get Corvette Central which indicates that it is now selling parts from Paragon (or formerly from Paragon ??). There is no indication of Paragon being in retail sales itself anymore.

And Corvette Central only lists the second design pipe with the lip on it. Whoever repopped it just copied the later style pipe (probably copied an NOS replacement pipe since they were still available for decades). GM discontinued the early style pipe as a service replacement part in 1968, so not much chance of ever finding an NOS one still floating around ...
