| Holley Chevy Carb ID Help

I am looking at Holley Chevy Carb to buy. Here are the numbers stamped on the Air Horn, can you tell me what these mean. Is this a service carb? Factory Carb? Guy claims this Carb was used on the 71-72 Camaro Z-28 LT-1 Engines. Factory or Service Carb? Any help is greatly appreciated. #3999263 List 6239-1 3460 Last edited by RALLY; 07-07-2022 at 01:19 AM. |

It is either a later GM service carb based on the dating or it could be a Holley re-release restoration carb as I do not know what dates they used on their restoration carbs. Regardless, I would say this is not an original 71-72 carb.

Definitely not a factory installed carb. Aftermarket or over the counter from GM, but not an assembly line carb.
