Family member seller is trying to pass that off as the original window sticker Other docs look good though.

Family member doesn’t fully understand the authenticity of everything Dad left him. Not the first time, won’t be the last. That repop window sticker was probably made for kicks by Dad and ended up in the folder with all the legit stuff. If the kid isn’t a car guy, it will take a bit of time and convincing for the BaT peanut gallery to overcome the inherent trust he has for what his Dad put in the folder. It’s human nature.

I think you're right on the money, Tom. Sounds like he is thankful for the help provided in locating the engine stampings. Cool to see the red crayon 'SS' writing on the Body Broadcast Sheet, which is many times seen on Kansas City built 69 SS396 Chevelles. I had the same thing on the sheet I found on my former 69 convertible.

I worked with the consignor back in the '90s and introduced him to the shop that did the resto on it. Think we [Camaro Parts Exchange] supplied many of the parts.

It is honestly represented.

Sold for $75K. Might be a new record for a 325hp/T400 69????
