I saw that on Ebay a while back, recognize the welded oil filter pad. Didn't sell then either.

Its a tall deck, was only used as a over the counter race block. There were some iron tall decks in trucks but never a aluminum tall deck in any production cars or trucks.

----There's a tall deck marine hi-performance motor that is looked upon very favorable by the offshore crowd. Its called a Bulldog. 540cu. and can be built up to around 750 horsies non pressurized...…...Bill S

I’ve always wondered if the tall portion of the deck could simply be machined off to make it a standard deck block. Anyone know?
