Is there a special bolt/pin to use when reassembling the springs?

The bolt has a round head that engages the round hole in the rubber spring pad , the nut may need to have it,s points ground some to fit the other half of the rubber pad. There are a bunch on ebay. And some auto parts might have them. Dorman makes the too. And Summit racing has them.

Any spring shop that's worth a damn should have these -- although ya' may have to cut to get the right length ... TAZ

I just ground the hex head into a circle on mine. Doesn't show once installed.

Sammy, sorry....i only answered the question because i don't have current access to my parts right now....yes they are unique, the pics above and both incorrect from my memory.
The did not have a slot in them and they were were not hex either. Round head with a flat top...exact height about 1/4 to 5/16 if i recall on the head. Mike, i think they were 1/4. When i get to my stuff ill post a pic OKKKKK....Sammy was this better??
