GM sent me a email saying my name was picked in the lottery to place my order. I will not be placing the order. I have 48hrs to place order or some other lucky person will get their name drawn and emailed. Not in a million years did i believe my name would be picked. They have many cool new options available including the HOT WHEELS EDITION. Thanks,Roger

A friend of mine has a new Camaro on order and got the COPO Email also. He already offered the car to me if i wanted it. Available engines are a 302 a 350, and the 427 (each or all three) serialized to match the assigned build number of the race car.

Depends on what engine you chose. $118,000 + or - Dealer i talked to had no idea what a copo camaro was, but there would have been no mark up by dealer. I could not make the purchase, so I offered the dealer to order the car for themselves. But they were afraid GM would catch them. It is non-transferable and i would have had to put up the 10k deposit and order in my name. They said GM tracks the money and they would not be able to do it.
