I have a 1969 Nova SS that is a 4-speed car and I need help with some things on the transmission ID numbers
checked the trans # and it is the following: 19W483514 (W483514 is my VIN#) and it Has a metal tag that is held on with one of the bolts holding the side cover and it reads # 6950356 Also I have P9D174 ... I am not sure if I read the 4 properly TIA for your replies

9=1969 D=April 17=day assembled 4,probably the letter A or B.A=M20..B=M21...C=M22. #6950356 is the part # of the trans itself. |

Looks like yours is really 3950356 & the #4 is really the letter A,meaning M20.

The 1 in front of your partial vin is fro Chevrolet
