Default Help identify this block/stamp

Any ideas on this BBC stamp. Tried looking it up with no luck. What is it?

It is likely of a twin engine boat. The 7AH would be the suffix. Many marine applications used a number, letter, letter suffix code. The RH would mean its a starboard/right side engine.

The block casting number is 3904351, but the stamp on the engine pad? The other stamp was just above and to the right of the driver's side water pump mounting boss. Thanks for any help on this. Photos looked better on my camera screen Sorry, Paul

Hey Jason,

I NEVER would have guessed that, but now that you pointed that out - Is there a "AH" code for a certain manufacturer of boats that exists because I can't find that code for a car? That's a great point you made! Thanks !

You'll have to excuse me. I did read what you had posted initially, but your suggestion didn't hit home until I read it again After reposting with a question that you had already answered. I apologize for not reading your answer thoroughly. You're probably spot-on!

----Paul,,,I live in a heavy boating area and its not uncommon for marinas and boatyards around here to get left with derelict boats with loads of storage against them. Often they are taken for money owed and get cut up and taken to the dump, but the boat yard owners take anything of value 1st. I scored 2 beautiful 351/ 4-bolt main blocks several years ago for $500 for the pair. Not even a ridge on the cylinder walls. Even the good cranks. If yours is a marine block it has about a 50-50 chance that it is reverse rotation, so check that out, but it will still probably be 4-bolt main which is, of course, very desirable. Good luck!.....Bill S
