Muncie Part Number ID

I ran across a Muncie M21 that had a tag with the part number 3879672 on it. I was told it was out of a full size '66 Chevy. I was expecting to see part number 3879669 for the M21. Does anybody have any idea what 3879672 is/was?? [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif[/img]
