1111445 Distributors Batch Built?

Just checking for a friend.

He's got a low mile, loaded 68 Camaro 396/350 hp 4spd car that he was wondering about the dates for the 1111445 distributor. His original distributor was missing and wants to replace it, but was inquiring as to possible dates for the distributor. The car was built the last week of July '68, engine block cast D 10 8, assembly date: 071568. He's guessing these were batch built. Any input would be appreciated.
