The buyer of my Hurst olds lives in upper Ny state. I will be shipping the car out this week. I will do the import docs for him. What will he need to register the car in NY state.

I went through the same insanity shipping a car from BC to New Jersey two years ago. Just make sure that all the docs that go through customs have actual embossed stampings on them from the customs inspector. A faxed copy will not be accepted by motor vehicle agencies here. It must be an original doc with a stamp. Even an "official copy" is not acceptable.
