Default 68 Nova J52 brake question

On my 68 Nova, has the J52 brakes / original to the car.

So, brake booster top small tab just has 68 stamped on it. And brake reservoir front tab is stamped KC.

Can someone tell me if the booster and reservoir are original or correct? Booster has heavy paint so cannot see any other markings, and do not see any cast part number on the reservoir.

Thanks.

What is the build date of the car. On the front side tab 068 or 68 would be the Julian day of the year and on the back side should have 9078 around the same place you found the 068. The master cylinder should be 5460346 casted on the side of it an if it has KC on the front tab I would say it is wrong. It should be the same as Camaro which is WT. Both my J52 cars didn't have a code on the master cylinder.

Here is my original booster Julian date of 128 for an 06B car

Casting on master cylinder.

My broadcast sheet says 05 02, so May 2 nd. and dealer typed up invoice shows car being bought by customer June 21, 1968. The back of the tab does show 9078.

Now, it's painted silver, so needs to be re-plated, can someone suggest a good place to have this done, maybe here in Jersey? And, ones I have seen to me are too well done, too nice bright gold, back in the day I don't recall them looking that nice. Is there a place that will make it look correct or is the Eastwood kit worthwhile?

Thanks.

Brakebooster.com did mine. He isn't local to you.. remember you get what you pay for and I wouldn't use the east wood kit. They were plated originally not painted.
