Looking for info on 70 Camaro race in Connecticut

So the "SRD Camaro" investigation takes another turn. The guy from PA tthat bought it in around 1975 picked it up from somewhere around Hartford Conn.When he brought he car home it was already painted white,but it looks like the car was orange when it left the factory,and might have had yellow and black paint(even a combo of both) some time in between. The guy who bought it ran engines from McBetts which he probably got involved with from the previous owner of the car. Does anybody know of a car from that area that this car might be?
