Default WTB-1969 Chevy Impala 2 door

Looking for a decent untouched 69 Impala 2 door, standard or custom roof, 327 or 350, automatic with column is fine, most colors considered, vinyl top or not. Will take Fathom Green for sure. My dad had one new in 69 with 350 and am looking for one for him now to drive around.

Gary,

I posted a link to this ad on the SS427 website....they are into all full size Chevys of that era, not just the SS427's.

Thanks a bunch Bill. I did forget one thing though, I'm in Delaware and probably something in the Delmarva area would be good and PA, N.J. also.

My wife & I owned a 69 Impala convertible for 18 yrs, and I did a 3 year frame-off restoration on it (1991-94), so I tend to pay attention to them. Nice ones do pop up from time to time, so if you're not in a hurry, you will find one....the bonus is, they're not wildly popular, so you can buy one pretty reasonably.

Several months ago there was a guy in the Pittsburgh area who tried a number of times to sell a LeMans blue convertible on eBay....one owner, documented to the nines, very low mileage, unrestored, 350 automatic. Wanted around $15K for it. Last I saw, I think it ended up at Old Forge Motors in the Philly area, but I don't see it on their website now. That would have been a real dandy for your father.

I'm not looking for anything that's perfect. Something around 5k to 10k tops. I have an unrestored 69 Z28 that's nickle and diming me now with the high prices being asked for these parts. A #3 or 4 would be fine. I may as well be in the middle of the Pacific looking for one.
