I see the Zl-1 motor for the Strip-Blazer is for sale. Does anyone know what happened to the car?

The engine has been out there for several months. The car was raced from new by Malcolm Durham as "Strip Blazer", last known in the DC area in the '70s. It was advertised in National Dragster as a tubbed, caged race car with a Dana 60 and Chrysler 4-speed.

thanks Willliam, Neat story. I was just reading an old article about him and his Z/11. Probably the only guy to buy a Z/11 and ZL-1 new !!! When I bought my ZL-1, I was told his car was still around. Wonder where it is now?

My opinion, still exists. When everyone was chasing them in the '80s COPO Connection knew it had a lien on it so he must have found a registration. Problem with race cars is the dash/cowl area is often cut out-no VIN or body tag. At least one other surviving ZL1 is like that.
