Just posted that on Steve's...and tried to set the record straight...Ken's car was first rate and of the highest quality. You would be hard pressed to duplicate it for $45k...

I sold Ken's gold Nova to a guy that sells allot of wheels out of the St Luis area. I have not seen his ad since yesterday morning but I do not remember him trying to say it was a real L89. That car is very special and I have pictures of when Ken found it with 8600 miles on it with another replacement motor and the original single 3/8" fuel line coming off of the frame rail and a deep groove pulley on the alternator. I really think the car is one of the ultra rare california emissions 396/375hp Novas but with out documentation it can not be proven. When I did a California title search it only came back with one owner prior to Ken. Neat car that ran great, never let me down and draws a crowd every time I park it. This great car deserves a good home.

![]() ... Has anyone inspected the documentation that the owner "badbowtiess" says he has? He claims to have "the retail order form, the warranty booklet and the protecto plate for the car." .... He could simply have these documents inspected by a professional .... to calm everyone about them being fake documents.... unless he knows they are. |

The name has popped up a few times here in the past Sam including you saying something similar five years ago in this thread... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt..._Gibb_L78_Nova Back to the L89 Novas, wasn't it the silver car's owner who showed up here a few years ago after buying the car and we all 'helped' burst his bubble after looking at details including pad stamping pics w/ surface problems and faint previous Vin showing? I can't find the thread and my apologies if I'm wrong but the amount of L89 Nova info we've all looked here at over the past few years has become somewhat dizzying?
