Im puting the finishing touches on the 69Z - and was not able to find a diagram where the vac line from the smog goes to the engine/carb. I have one vac line that goes to the dist from the side of the carb, but unless there is some type of Tee missing, i cannot find any ref as to how or where that smog vac line goes to?
69Z - open element air cleaner - all stock engine compartment......thoughts?

Although I have a '69 SS350 with a smog system my vacuum line goes from the back of the divertor to the front of my q-jet (see pic)
My RH side engine compartment ![]() Now here is a link to some vintage pics of a '69 Z/28 with open element air cleaner to compare to. The same vacuum line runs from the back of the divertor, across the center of the valve cover to the front of the Holley carb...pics are black and whites (click on link below & scroll down) http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=10034.0 The million dollar question is: Where does the "tee" go? I did recieve a white plastic vacuum tee with my smog pump hose kit but couldn't use it anywhere. Maybe someone else can chime in on where it was used. It may have been used on engine with a cowl iduction air cleaner...? Maybe someone can post some better pics on where it goes.

Seeing how easy it would be to change out, I would just get whatever for now. Eddie, I may have an extra, but I am not in that particular "bucket" o crap right now. If I come up with a second one, you are welcome to it.
Eric Jackson may have one as well. IIRC,they are white with little flat shoulders at the junction. GM used them for years, so should be a few out there.

I found one, which I believe is correct... but I need it for my car. There is a good possibility I run across another this weekend.

Can someone with an original confirm that this is the T fitting Eddie needs?
