Rochester Q-jet #7040205
*Posting a want ad for a friend. Looking for an original Rochester Q-jet #7040205 carburetor with appropriate date code. Please, no restamps. Must have all proper components---no "frankenstein carburetors"! Restored or unrestored is ok. My friend has a numbers matching 1970 Chevelle SS396 350hp. 4spd. and it's missing this one piece. The car's engine assembly date is May 7, 1970 so the quadrajet's build date should be prior to this day. It should look like the photo below. Thanks for your help guys!

I currently own a 1969 Camaro SS350. Although the original drivetrain is long gone, this 4/speed car has a March '69 HC coded block with #041 heads. The transmission is an M20 Muncie #660 case and the rearend is a BS coded 12 bolt posi. Built in Van Nuys.
