Ed's old list shows it as a Yenko sold car. Good place to start may be a call to Warren D to see if he has a file on it

Hi All, I'm the friend Charley was, um, commenting about. This is my very first time posting so please bear with me.
Yes, this is a '69 HO Yenko Camaro in pretty original condition except for a repaint and gobs and gobs of chrome. The previous owner had chromed the inner fenders, brake booster, cowl cover, hood hinges, pulleys, even the 4spd trans case. During its chroming-era customizations the whole engine compartment had been torn apart, and halfway through the reassembly that's where the project got stalled. And that was about 20 years ago, maybe more. So that's how I've received the car, partially in boxes and glittery as can be. With your suggestion I did give Warren D a call but he doesn't have records for too many of the '69 cars, unfortunately including this one. So I'm still looking for some history and suggestions on how I can get some of its pretty cool options authenticated, and any help is appreciated. I'll post some pics once I figure out how to do that. Thanks Charley for getting this thread started for me! -Wade |
