Howdy from Ky!
I just finished my '66 Chevelle and thought I'd send you some pics for the Members rides section. This is a car I have been trying to buy from a friend of mine who bought it out of New Mexico in the early 2000's. It is a total nut and bolt restoration. It was started on Aug. 17,2010 and pretty much finished on Feb.2,2013. The bottom and frame of this car had zero pitting on it. You can see all the little factory stampings on it. Calif. built original sheet metal, factory 4-sp, bucket seat, originally Marina blue FF code with bright blue interior 731 code. I had to paint it black cause I'm a black freak when it comes to cars. I found a '65 Corvette 327/365 motor for it with a Muncie M-20 and a 12 bolt 355 posi rear. Nothing sounds better than a small block solid lifter Chevy motor. You won't believe this but I bought the complete, carb to oil pan, rebuilt Corvette 327/365 motor from a guy in California, got it home had the VIN number run and found the original car for this engine 30 miles from my house!!! I tried to mate it back up with the car but he was not interested in it. I found the build sheet for the car in it but no other paperwork. Thanks John ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
