Default Wounded Warrior Project Weekend at Windham..

The troops are arriving today for the annual Learn to Ski weekend for the Wounded Warrior Project hosted by the Adaptive Sports Foundation at Windham Mountain.

Karen is up there already with the troops...activities start tomorrow..skiing, big luncheon,and more. I'll post some pics as the event unfolds.

Here are some photos from the event...

US Congressman Chris Gibson speaks to the soldiers and their families during the Friday luncheon.


Kids from the local elementary school were there to sing patriotic songs for the crowd.

This is one of FDNY guys, Gary Lamb, the NYC Firemen come up every year to help with transportation...great bunch of guys..and they like to party [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif[/img]



Karen chats with one of the ASF instructors...many of the instructors are disabled themselves..they are really something!
