Default CE stamp decipher

Couldn't find Rick's (MR70) great explanation of these stampings (I sent him a pm). Anybody decipher this stamping?: <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic"><span style="font-size: 14pt">CE 73103</span></span></span>, which is stamped on the front pad of a &quot;272&quot; block cast in E 12 9.

Sam, I think you're missing a digit after the CE. That digit will be the year the block was assembled, e.g. &quot;0&quot; for 1970.
