I just bought an ao chevelle wheel and it has a Hood super sport king low oval glas tire on it. Is there any way to see when it was made?

That's a tough one Carmen. There will be a manufacturer/date code stamped on the back side of the tire that is an alphanumeric series. Problem is that it will be a challenge to find someone to decipher it. Are tires still made or was the company bought out by someone else still business that you could ask?
