Default Subframe Queastion for the Experts.....

Hi everyone! Looks like the Best of the Best hang out here! I have a question that I cant seem to find the answer anywhere(not exactly anyway)

This is related to the first gen camaro subframe vs. second gen camaro subframe. I know they are different and will not interchange with each other. I guess the second gen is longer?? My question is... Where exactly are the differences? and how much exactly are they? Or another way to ask....If I were to try and bolt a second gen sub on my first gen or vise versa(Im not going to do this, just trying to understand the differnces) What modifications would have to be done and exactly what would the measurments be.

Ok, the reason I ask is because I want to build some subframes for both cars and I want to use the same welding table. These frames will be tubular and nothing close to stock. I have the Fisher body specs for both but they dont tell me what I need to know.

If anyone here can help, I would be thankfull!

By the way, I do have a 69 daytona yellow z28 Thanks everyone!
