Got a freind whos got some stuff he wants to sell and he says he believes this to be a LS7, block has a casting of44016445 looks like,stamped on the center of the block above the water pump has a X in the code? and a 3933163 intake
What you guys think? |

XCH should designate an LS7 if I recall correctly

Yup, XCH is correct,stamped on the pad above the waterpump. I've got one sitting in the garage.

T1214XAA Tell me what it is please, seems like the date code is K-10-8,can't really tell if its a 8 or 81? woud it be cast as a 81? |

----I think none of us has wanted to venture a value opinion because we dont know what condition your LS6 find is in. Is it overbored? Is is the crank standard or cut? The list of variables go on. A virgin LS6 has one value. A raced and abused LS6 has quite another value.......Bill S
----And,,,Throw into the equation that there were many more crate LS6s than LS7s. |
