In the Feb 11 issue of Hemmings Muscle, there are pictures of Sox and martin in their 68 cuda, and Dandy Dicks 68Dart, both have SS/E on the window. I thought these cars were strictly SS/B at the time. Can anyone explain?

SSE was an early designation for the AHRA version of Pro Stock which they called Super Stock Eliminator. That started in 1969 which probably dates those photos. It was a 7#/cid heads-up class like the NHRA version that started a year later.
