Default ML-4 Lifters GM?

Can anyone tell me if GM lifters are the only one that have the ML-4 part number?

I recently bought a 70 LS-5 engine that had been built a long time ago. I took it apart to inspect it and when I pulled a lifter I saw it has ML-4 printed on the side. I expected to see a GM cam. When I pulled the cam I found it was a Comp Cams 11-106 grind which is a L78/L72 cam.

I would like to know if the lifter are GM like I suspect or if they are Comp Cams. The cam and lifters are new, never run. If they are GM lifters I will sell them and buy aftermarket ones to go with the cam. If they are Comp lifters I will just keep them with the cam.

Thanks,

Jason
