Any more info? Trans? 396 or 454? Bench or buckets? Do you have the VIN (if it was your car check old insurance documents or with the insurance company)? If so, you can try to search it. Virginia will do a VIN search for about $10 via their DMV website, California may do the same. Otherwise, you can do a nationwide VIN search; google will locate a few services.

BTW, might want to turn off the ALL CAPS; makes it feel like you are yelling at me.

Good luck,

Scott

Give the guy a break, it's been noted before in here that he does not see well.

Les -

If you have the VIN, try www.abika.com - I think that's the address of the site I used - not sure if there are better sites, but don't have experience with them. It wasn't cheap ($100?), and it took a while, but it was worth it for me. I'm not sure if/how they can give out info for the current or past owners; privacy laws might prevent that. I was just seaching to see if the VIN I had came back as stolen, totaled, etc. Might want to check with them to see what their capabilities are.

Good luck,

Scott
