Default 69 GTO parts

trying to source a new dash top for a 69 GTO/Lemans..the metal part the goes from under the windshield to the leading edge of the dash..I have seen it for camaros and I think for Chevelles but cant find one for a Pontiac. Thanks

I would think it's the same as Chevelle, but can't say for sure. I could compare as we have several of each in the shop.

The repo upper dash for a 69 Camaro is quite different than the OE. Haven't seen/compared the Abody piece.

THanks Dave..they seem to have different shapes in the middle..have not taken the POntiac apart yet so it m,ay be the same. Trying to source parts before disassembly

I took a look at an Ames catalog. They sell the Chevelle part and say that it needs some modifications to fit the GTO.

I would be very careful dealing with this guy.He sent me a PM saying he had some parts I was looking for.I sent him $1700.00 and received the parts damaged.He told me they were insured and to send them back and he would file a claim.That was in Feb.After countless emails and PMs and a lot of stories and promises from him I finally got 500.00.It seems he now has the insurance money and my money and still won't pay me. He has quit responding to my emails and I am turning it over to my attorney.

I ended up fabricating and tig welding the patches in my 68 GTO... there was nothing good available 2 years ago.

wound up doing the same..nothing available aftermarket for pontiacs
