SS emblem ?
were 69 and 70 SS fender emblem's only painted white?
or would they have been black on a white car?

Donnie, I think they were always white colored irregardless of body color..

the ones on the white 69 I just bought are black and two of them looked to be factory painted. thats why I asked.

I worked in the Camaro parts business 1983-1997 and probably ordered hundreds of the 3987377 SS emblems. Occasionally they would be furnished in black. I believe some '70s used them.

Donnie, I noticed in the pictures of your new dover white 69 they were black. I have never seen that before either..
