Default 69 chevelle q panels

Has anybody put on any of the aftermarket quarter panels on a 69 chevelle? I was wondering about the fit and the quality.

If you get aftermarket quarters, the first thing you want to do is try the wheel well trim on for fit. We put half quarters on a '72 Lemans Sport a few years ago and had a devil of a time making the stainless wheel well trim fit. The contour was different. It took some butchery of the trim to make it work. Definitely not something to do on a big dollar restoration.

i just picked up another 69 chevelle and it had aftermarket quarters installed on it.they don't look very good.maybe the guy wasn't a real body man.i think they need to come off and get some GM quarters.but i have seen others installed and look great. never had any issues with the wheel opening mouldings fitting on the 69 quarters.
