This is was used to be listed on the COPO Connection site under the Douglas COPO Camaros The "x" indicated it was registers with them and would be a known car

-----SGC,,,I worked for Jack at Classic Motors from 1977 thru 1985 or so and sometime in the early 80s we had a guy named George Weathered managing the shop. He found a yellow 69 Camaro that he swore was a 427 car. Back then we didnt know enough to call them COPOs. After he bought it out of either Downers grove or Westmont and started the resto he decided to add all the Yenko stuff. He actually got the Yenko badges made, but I dont think his car was delivered with any of that stuff. That doesnt mean that Jack didnt sell it as a Yenko, he probably did, but the 1st owner may have wanted a sleeper as that was popular among certain late night groups back then. I have no idea anymore what the Serial# was or trim tag info but the car definetly was sold out of Jack Douglass Chevrolet and definetly was a COPO. I can get Georges ph.no. but dont have it now if any of this interests you........Bill S
