Default STOLEN!!!!!! 4 H/O from H/O nationals!!!!

Just have a small amount of details, but 4 Hurst/Olds were stolen from the host hotel parking lot for the Hurst/Olds nationals in Indianapolis. 1-79 2-83's and an 84 were all taken at 4 AM Saturday morning. The cameras saw 4 guys get out of a truck and go straight to the cars. They had cased the cars out earier in the day. I will try to give you more details as soon as I get them.

Man, there has been too much of this crap over the last few years. These crooks know the dates and locations of the shows, and obviously the host hotels as well. Almost makes a guy think twice about going to these events.

Keep us updated Russell.

Just got in from the Northern Ohio Chevelle Club Show in Westlake, Ohio and one of the club members was telling me that this past Thursday night 2 guys were casing the lot around midnight asking questions about what some of the cars were worth

The club kept a close eye on things after that. Almost wants to make you sleep in the trailer with your car at night with a shotgun at hand...

I just recieved word that they were going after a 5th one, had the door unlocked, but saw the club on the steering wheel.

They passed over the higher dollar 68, 69, and 72's for the T-top G-bodies.

Put some deterents up and make them visible! Pull coil wires, take the battery in the room, jack the back end up and leave it on jack stands. Do something to deter these a-holes!!!!!

Here is information about the cars. Good news, if you can all it that, is that the '79 H/O has been recovered, partially stripped.

If its been posted before sorry . Just want to make sure all info on the cars stolen at Indy were posted.

UPDATE VIN's...be on the look out..Thank you

If you have already received this I apologize. Please pass this to as many of your car people as possible. I have attached photos of the cars. This is not a joke. We are desperately searching for these cars.

Between 1AM and 4AM on Saturday, August 8, 2009, FOUR Hurst/Olds were stolen from 2 hotel parking lots adjacent to each other in Indianapolis, Indiana. There were over 125 H/O's in attendance for the Hurst/Olds Club of America 25th National Meet. This was a calculated "hit", not a random crime. The thieves knew we were going to be there, they knew which cars they wanted, they knew what they were doing and they got us!

It took them less than 1 minute to gain entry to a car, have it running and leaving the parking lot. They used a white crew cab pick up truck and drove into the lot and parked like they were a guest. One person exited the truck and hit the car, then both left. They went back and forth from one hotel to the other, not raising suspicion. This was evident from reviewing the hotels security tapes. Following is a list of the cars with unique features about each.

Now it is time for us to find the thieves. Indianapolis News, channel 8 WISH TV did an interview with several H/OCA members including 1 of the victims. To view this clip go to WISHTV.com, click on "more stories" and then "four classic cars stolen". Anyone having information about any of these cars can contact Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS or Judy Badgley at 517-645-7438 or djbadgley@gmail. com

Please pass this along to ALL of your car friends no matter what make and model they collect. Let's make sure this doesn't happen to someone else. KEEP TRACK ON EBAY AND CRAIGS LIST FOR THESE UNUSUAL CARS AND/OR PARTS! All updates at www.hurstolds. com
