Looking for info and pics of TH400 kickdown hardware for a 1970 L78 Nova. What is needed to make the system operate?
Thanks

We have 2 1970 TH400 L78 Novas....some early cars still used the carb mounted kickdown switch. Most will have the switch mounted to the gas pedal under your "right foot".
You can check the wiring harness to make sure you have the connection...let me know if you need more info. The switch basically completes the circuit to the solenoid on the drivers side of the tranny...I think it is an orane wire. wilma

If your throttle linkage is mechanical.....the switch is mounted on the Carb......If cable.....it should be inside mounted to the gas pedal....

Wilma, Is the pedal switch and bracket for 70 Nova the same parts found on a 70-72 Chevelle?
Thanks
