327 block identification help

I have had this 327 block kicking around my garage for a
dogs age and then some.
Casting number 3959512
Pad #s CEA 135856
any help identifying would be appreciated

Was also used for some "CE" replacement blocks

that may explain the pad code.

(CEA comes up as a late model 305)
