Dave, Restamps........................................
This guy has been listing a new LS6 distributor on ebay every week for quite a while that are restamps as are the 480's he's been listing. Not very honest in any of his descriptions. Buyer beware. Chris |

It is ready to install and run.I recently acquired over 300 distributors from a large volume rebuilders that had closed. There is a large quantity of early high performance distributors available. I have several early Z28 distributors for sale and I am listing them as I get them assembled. If the date on this distributor does not match your needs. Please feel free to call or e-mail. (559)-275-2001 ask for Alan. Thanks for looking and happy bidding
This is rediculous. He sells other bogus parts from time to time also. Jason |

There is another guy on ebay selling what are supposed to be nos pulleys..060 291 and 105's...all repops...I had a friend buy one and he sent me a pic...I had him return it for a refund..believe it or not he got his money back..but the guy relisted it and sold it again...ebay wont do anything about it...this guy is a repeat offender with another user name...I'll give name on request.Another thing the restampers dont know is there are only so many dates used for the different distributors...like 1111437 only having three different dates..1112019...only three dates..it go's on and on..when you have a real deal part..take photo's and dates and keep it for reference.Ive seen alot of guy's buying restamped stuff for years.

Dave,
Can add more data here about these distributors. Uses plastic shims to set the shaft end play. Not good! Does not install an advance bushing on the centershaft and there is usually no grease or felt seal in the lube cavity of the housing. Also replates OEM 201 vacuum advance units but they don't work because the plating tanks blow out the vacuum diaphram. We test them on our Sun machine. NG. Have re-restored some for customers who have opted for a low cost distributor. Bottom line, if one is bought here it still needs to be set up correctly and calibrated. Jerry |
