The Nov.3 2008 Autoweek magazine did a 2 pg. article on the Challenger Drag Pak .For $36,999 you get a non running, body in white Challenger. It has no VIN , no title and no warranty. They plan on building 100 cars. Jeg Coughlin track tested a finished car and went 10.20 @ 130 mph. Jeg said the car has potential of mid 9's with some tuning. In a sidebar of the same article the Mustang Cobra Jet comes as a turnkey race car ,but no price was discussed

The article can be read at autoweek.com . By entering Challenger into the search box you can view an 8 min video of Jeg running the car at Milan Dragway . He was going thru the traps bumping the rev limiter on all the runs. The text says the car is available with a race prepped 6.1 Hemi ,5.7 Hemi or 5.9 Magnum , but the trans and rear end supplied should be replaced with race prepped units .
